Scott here checking in from da' swamp. I own and run a lil' twist and fart plumbing operation here in Baton Rouge. I've been fishing coastal Louisiana for the last 20 years...mainly from the side of the road :) I got into kayaking about a year ago and joined a local club. I've spent the last year paddling my butt off trying to keep up with everyone in Hobie's and fishing spots they've already hit. I took the plunge last week on a new Ivory Outback and couldn't be happier. I went to Grand Isle over Easter weekend and properly slimed her with some specks and reds. I freakin' love it. I only wish I had bought it to begin with

Thank you kindly fellas, appreciate the welcome. I was bound and determined to slip down to Pointe Aux Chenne with it this weekend, but the wind squashed that. This coming weekend we're putting on a kayak rigging demo here in Baton Rouge, so it may be two weeks before I see action again. But I myself fell victim to all this when I stumbled upon their kayak rigging demo last year at Bass Pro...maybe we can convert a few and Lord knows I got rigging to do
