When I lean back against the seatback the adjusters slip. Is there a different adjuster available with more bite? |

When you get them adjusted right, try pulling in a little then typing a knot (half hitch) with the excess strap around the taught strap and it will jam into the adjusters. Seems to work well for me. |

Buy a small ss buckle and add it to the system and your slipping is over. |

Thanks for the replies folks. I found some strap clamps laying around and added them to the loose ends. No more slipping. I am amazed that with Hobie's attention to detail that they would use that clamp. If you look at it the teeth are not pointing in the right direction to grab in. I tried to see if there was another way to route the straps to make it work but I think they just used the wrong clamp. |
