I just got my 2014 Hobie Outback, and was told that the front hatch liner does not come with it like it did with my Pro Angler. I really don't want to spend $60 for a plastic tub, so I am looking at other options. Has anyone ever made a hatch liner for an Outback's front hatch? what did you use? And if you could post some pictures that would be great! I also saw on YouTube, where a guy from Australia had cut down a round laundry basket and stuffed it into his center hatch, and used it for a center hatch liner. I might try that as well. Any help for this project will be greatly appreciated. |

I have a large soft-sided cooler that I stick in the front hatch to keep things tidy, with that I've never had the need for the pricey liners. |

Thought I would add to this posting. Purchased the ROUND tub at Walmart today for $3.92. Cut it down and it works perfectly. http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg5 ... ucket1.jpg http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg5 ... ucket2.jpg http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg5 ... ucket3.jpg |
