If I put the straps around the kayak, I cannot clear the garage door (1" to low). If I go around the kayak and up through the drive well, then I have 1-2" inches of clearance. Is the drive well strong enough to support the kayak this way? |

I would say yes, but how wide is the strap.. I would use a boat wench strap at the 1.5 to 2 inches type of strap to widen the load of the drive hole. Good Luck PS; I am not a Hobie dealer, just an owner with saying yes. |
