I am in the camp that thinks the stock Hobie Kayak Seats are uncomfortable. I did some searching and found the following options for replacing: Seairsports Pacific Angler Seat http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/ser ... eat/Detail Wilderness Phase 3 Airpro Seat http://www.austinkayak.com/products/922 ... -High.html SURF TO SUMMIT GTS Expedition Seat http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/ser ... eat/Detail FeelFree Gravity Kayak seat http://www.austinkayak.com/products/150 ... -seat.html Jackson Elite Coosa http://store.jacksonkayak.com/elite-sea ... ver-coosa/ From I can tell, it looks the Jackson seat is probably the best Mod the the average guy could do. I am interested in what others have and would like to see the setup before I order one and go drilling my yak. |

I have the S2S GTS. I can sit all day and not have a problem with my back or a numb backside. The stock seats are good for filling a garbage can. |

saltfisherman/Kramster- Are these seats plug and play or need a lot of modding? (pictures please?) |

Plug and play...after typical adjusting... they don't have the plugs in the bottom so may slide a lil... the Skwoosh slides a bit more and I am wearing out the seat (butt) a bit ...I could prolly tighten the straps a wee bit more as well |
