I have found a used 2008 Adventure Island can anyone tell me the difference between a 2007 and a new 2013. What problem were there with the 2008? |

There are way more knowledgeable folks on this forum than I. But I think the main differences are the rudder changing from the flip and fold, there might have been some slight hull tweaks (strengthening in areas), and I think they changed the aka attachment type too. |

I think it all depends on the cost & condition of the 2008. One of the local dealers in my area has a AI (either 07 or 08) for $2,100. Not bad considering its been thourally checked out & is coming from a dealer.... I've seen quite a few for around $2500. One of the Topics here lists all of the various upgrades: to name a few Scupper tube inserts AKA connectors/ older pins vs new click style Rudder (which you may be able to upgrade) welding reinforcements on mast base Again, as long as its been taken good care of- nothing wrong with it |
