Thanks to everyone's feedback, my mind is made up about turbo fins. I also like the idea of the drive stow bag, however several reviews say it's a struggle to get the turbos in. Hoping a prominent Hobie dealer/person might know if this is going to be rectified in the near future. Appreciate info.....

lula, agree the Mirage drive with turbo fins is "a snug fit", but if you unzip the bag all the way open, lay it down flat while inserting the fins all the way to the bottom end....then turn the pedals as you insert it into the top of the bag, it all fits....close the zipper...that's it......my 2013 PA-14 turbo fins fit into my old 2010 Hobie stow bag.

Ease up, take an extra few seconds to properly orient the drive unit and it'll go into the bag nicely. Get the bag - it's a nice compliment to the expensive drive unit.

I'd say "it's an expensive compliment to the nice drive unit." :-)

They cost just under $70 down here in Oz (but we do seem to get pumped on prices, transport & exchange-rate notwithstanding).

I keep my drive in a cheap carry-all bag...

Mike.

I use an Adidas bat bag that costs about $20 and I'm very satisfied with it.

Wash it spray with WD40 and hang it on the wall! When in transport they sit between the life vests in a rubbermaid bin in the back of the truck. Still dont know what i'll do for winter storage.

I absolutely LOVE the drive bag!!!!! Just one extra inch would be nice, however it's a wonderful bag and the price is very fair. Between the bag and the turbo fins I am loving my Revo even more and I didn't think that was possible.

Been using my Hobie drive storage bag for a year now and LOVE IT more than ever!!! Snug fit, however once you get the feel of it it's no problem. Buy one for yourself!!

I have never used a drive bag in 7-10 years. Still have the original drive too which is going strong!

So impressive!! See the thing is I feel very cool, sorta "together" strutting the Hobie bag...I give a quick zip, grab the handle and o f f I g o ...like an expensive handbag... YOU on the other hand are in NZ and that alone is cool enough, my fellow boater:)
