Post subject:  Adventure wake

In case you never looked aft while kayaking, here's what the Adventure leaves behind cruising along about 5.5 MPH. The still water allows you to see its prominence as well as its persistence.

The center burble looks like water resurfacing from beneath the hull, energized by the Turbofins. The intersecting bow and stern waves make the wavy pattern. That seems like a lot of wake for a kayak!

Some of the wake is showing the effect of the bow bounce. As the fins reach the sides of the stroke they first pull down the bow and then push up. That may explain the "broken" (scallop) looking wake close behind.
