I currently use an astral v-eight pfd with my hobie outfitter. However, I find its short back hits the seatback uncomfortably. Any recommendations for a pfd that is comfortable, but also lightweight and stays cool for hard pedaling? Maybe a pfd with a full back. Thanks. |

In the new catalogs... Hobie Thin-Back by Stohlquist and Astral too. Full length... thin backs. Very comfortable in a Vantage seat. http://cdn.hobiecat.com/digital_assets/87367027-international-kayaking-parts-catalog.pdf Page 2-3 |

Which is more comfortable/better between Hobie thin-back and Hobie mirage pfd? Why? Thanks! |

The Stohlquist Thin-Back is more comfortable. Better foam trimming and formed fit. |
