I interested in knowing if the H-Crate installed in a 2015 Outback leaves enough room to fit the Hobie Heavy Duty or Beach cart. Anyone got photos to share, or ownership experience?

It's priced very attractive at $130 and I'm tempted to just order one =)

I tried with HOBIE HVY DUTY PLUG-IN CART, but the H-Crate must be without the tackle bins. You can put only one tackle bin on the side of the rudder.

No, but offhand looking at this photo, it appears to be a Outback Image

If you adjust the tie down straps so the H-crate is positioned farther aft, the cart would "plug in" and not interfere with the crate.

I bought the H-Crate last week and decided to share some observations for those wanting to use a Hobie cart with it.

1. I have the heavy duty cart and as you can see in the photos it puts some restrictions on what you can put in the front rod holders; basically you won't be putting rods w/ spinning reels in [not a problem for me]. A cart with bigger wheels make obstruct those rod holders more.

2. The H-Crate also limits how much your seat can recline before hitting it. I haven't had it on the water yet so not sure if this is even a real issue.. typically I fish with an inflatable life vest so it probably won't be for me.
