Hi folks!

New to the forum and just got a Mirage Sport. How high up is the water line in your drive well? It seems like it's awfully high in mine, but then it's an open well. Seems to be peddling just fine, but I was curious what other people's looks like in the Sport.

Thanks,
L

Depending on your weight. It may get up to the heel wells.

Thanks Matt! I've got about 190lbs in it. Maybe it's just a little unnerving to see water through the kayak like that... It's been fantastic so far!

That is it's design. To get the seat and feet as low to the water for stability. The wells always have water in them.

unintended bonus, if you are fishing with live bait, you can drop the bait in the mirage area and the bait has enough water to stay alive a bit while you futz around with your rod and tackle

I love the sport, I had one for a while and almost regret upgrading it to a revo11.
