my 13 year old daughter has finally discovered she likes kayaking, and wants her own boat. She likes the perception brand sit in kayaks, and says she wants a paddle only kayak. I am Hobie all the way so its a Ford Vs Chevy thing, with me controlling the money. So the question is, do i buy the Lanai, or get the Mirage Sport, knowing pedals are a better way to kayak. either one will fit on top of the ti to tow to the lake. Thanks for the input Joe |

I would consider the choices between Revo 11 and Quest 11. Both are better paddle boats and way racier looking. I can't imagine her wanting a sit-in, but I do understand the paddle desire. I love paddling too... especially in surf. But on a Lake? Mirage all the way! Quest 11: ![]() Revolution 11: ![]() |

Ditto on the quest/revo 11. I had a Sport. It sucked to paddle. No other way to say that. |
