Post subject:  Lanai or Mirage Sport
my 13 year old daughter has finally discovered she likes kayaking, and wants her own boat. She likes the perception brand sit in kayaks, and says she wants a paddle only kayak. I am Hobie all the way so its a Ford Vs Chevy thing, with me controlling the money. So the question is, do i buy the Lanai, or get the Mirage Sport, knowing pedals are a better way to kayak.

either one will fit on top of the ti to tow to the lake.

I would consider the choices between Revo 11 and Quest 11. Both are better paddle boats and way racier looking.

I can't imagine her wanting a sit-in, but I do understand the paddle desire. I love paddling too... especially in surf. But on a Lake? Mirage all the way!

Ditto on the quest/revo 11.
I had a Sport. It sucked to paddle. No other way to say that.
