Glazed over the forum for an answer but didn't see anything. What are the two threaded holes in the seat area for? |

Threaded holes? There are threaded insert fittings all over the boat... eyes, cleats, bungee dead ends. Maybe missing the fittings? Photo? Size of a quarter and about 3/4" deep? |

I asked the same question of my dealer and he said they're just there. Part of the manufacturing maybe. these are smaller metal threads. |

If where the seat back legs deploy... these are the brass reinforcements molded into the hull. A screw holds the parts in the mold during... molding. |

They're shown, and explained, in the manuals: http://static.hobiecat.com/digital_assets/mirage-kayak-manual-150828.pdf (see page 10 for reference) |

I am not trying to be a smart ass, but it floors me how many people do not read the owners manual....and if the Hobie Dealer failed to provide it, IMHO they do not deserve to be a Hobie Dealer. It's no different than buying a new car and then failing to "read the Owners Manual".....as an Engineer, I must be the odd duck in this regard, as I want to know and understand what information my investment has included inside the manual. To Hobie's credit, they post the manual on line, under the "Support" and then "Product Support" Drop down for the various Hobie Models. |

Looks like this is new? I was not a fan of the clip as my seat came out during a surf launch and almost lost it if a friend hadn't grab it.. Can you guys send me a replacement bucket to replace the cord that came with the 2015 outback? ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
