Hello, first time posting. I have the opportunity to buy a demo but unused Pro Angler 17T for $4117 and the Hobie trailer for $1265.00. How do these prices compare to what any other PA17T owners paid? Should I pull the trigger on this price? Thanks! |

Sounds like a good deal to me....assuming the PA-17 is a 2016 model year kayak. Does the trailer have the Hobie Cradles too? |

The cradles are separate unfortunately, another $230. I think the kayak is a 2016 model, I'm going to find out for sure tomorrow if it's a 2015 or 2016. I am about 90% sure it's a 2016. |

If the PA-17 is last years model, the price seems to be a good deal. You should be able to wheel and deal on the accessories too.....10 to 15% discount is fairly normal. Using the Hobie cradles is a good option of you don't want to mess with installing parallel PVC pipes. You might consider adding a 600# capacity winch....around $35 + a winch stand that is "U-Bolted" to the trailer tongue...this might cost around $70. If you end up on a steep ramp, the winch becomes a life saver to get the PA-17 back on the trailer. |
