Looking for a Hullavator type rack assist

Post subject:  Looking for a Hullavator type rack assist
My lower back is not in good enough shape anymore to hoist my Outback on to the roof rack on my Honda CR-V.

Any suggestions?
I'm looking at the Thule Hulavator. Is it pretty much the gold standard or are there other options?
I don't want a trailer.

I don't personally have experience with the Hullavator, but the Nautic Kayak lifter works based on similar concept:

I don't see how this could work for two kayaks.

Ive seen a few cars carrying two kayaks utilizing the Nautic lift. Its all in the length of your crossbars. Just may need to be a little creative with 2 up there. One on J rack and one flat perhaps. I think of The Nautic lift as more about helping you get the kayaks up onto the roof. Once up, you strap them down,flip them over, place them on J racks/etc just as you would.

Ive been thinking about purchasing one for when Im not able to take the trailer (TI, AI). I tried the Hullvator and Malone lift assists (friends lighter kayaks) and both were a no go as you would still be required to strip the kayaks of assessors, and lift the kayak quite high and awkwardly onto the lift and secure. (perhaps Im too weak). I actually thought the basic boat loader worked better for me because it was easier to lift 1/2 the kayak straight up rather than carry/lift it on its side.

Im not sure if all Hobie dealers now carry the Nautic Lift, however my local Dealers do along with full range of Yakima/Malone. Perhaps you could try out or atleast view some options with a dealer.

The Hullavator Pro is excellent and well worth the money. I have a total shoulder replacement and am able to get my Outback on the roof on my Grand Cherokee with ease.

Today, my wilderness camping buddy let me play with his Rhino Rack T-loader. I'm 66 and have a Toyota Sienna. My strength is also not what it use to be. The T-loader tilted back enough to allow my rear hatch to open. I had a difficult time loading my Outback (gunwales down) as it kept getting hung up. However, my Outback loaded easily enough (gunwales up) requiring minimal strength. I did have a difficult time flipping the Outback onto its gunwales once up (normal mode of transport). Using Yakima mako saddles and keeping the gunwales up, I found I could easily load my Outback using the T-loader in under 5 minutes. I'm not sure how difficult a long distance drive with the gunwales up would be but I was impressed with the T-loader and fairly sure there will be not problem for short distances.

HStretch do you use the Rhino NIL and if so was it hard to install?
