Post subject:  Buy Outback now or wait?
I'm looking for some insight on whether to purchase a '17 Outback now or wait a few months for the new '18s to be released. I really don't "need" to get anything until late November. Just wondered if there were any rumors as to what new features we may see in the 2018 boats. If anyone has any advanced intel they could share I'd appreciate hearing.

Hi Coastie and welcome to the forum!

Hobie often introduces the next model year changes either at the ICAST or Outdoor Retailer Show. Both shows are this month. The new model year production typically starts in July but boats don't ship until September. When the new models come out, many dealers offer a discount on the older boats if they still have inventory. 8)

Thanks Roadrunner. I'll keep my ear to the ground out of ICAST the website says less than a day until it starts.
