I have a 2015 Revo and I am installing a Lowrance Fishfinder. Transducer port makes everything very easy except one thing. How do you reach the rear thru hull wire connector to loosen, etc! I am not short but reaching thru middle hatch I can barely touch it. any tricks?

revo 13 or 16?. 13 is bulkhead mounted and 16 is on bottom of tankwell on 2015 model..

If you unscrew and remove center hatch including rim you can get extra reach. Back nut is only finger tight so not overly hard to get it off if you can get a finger on it. You can replace with a later surface mounted type to make reinstallation easier

It is a 13. didn't think about taking off rim--might work.

Recruit a lanky kid. It is doable, if awkward, and one of the reasons Hobie introduced a surface mounted fitting.

Other option length of timber with a block on the end at 90 degrees with a V notch cut in to it reach it and wedge around the nut, like makeshift angled molegrips. Just enough pressure to loosen it, then you can back it off from the cover on the outside. Its not a tight fit. In fact it slips the thread if you try to overtighten
