I've got a new Camo. I've read the manual about proper storage. I get that weight needs to be distributed to avoid hull deformation.
Here's my idea and tell me if you think it will be okay.
One thick plywood 4x8 ripped down the middle to make two 2x8 pieces.
I'll stack those for even more rigidity then on to sawhorses. I will use about 6 feet of thick pool noodle in each hull channel to distribute the weight as the kayak sits upright. It will be indoors in my garage.

Whay do you think?

I went a little different route. i got two 10 foot 2x4s and screwed them 15 inches apart. i then screwed two 10 foot pieces of 3 inch PVC to them so that they were about 12 inches on center. this makes a nice cradle that can bow out a little on the thicker part of the boat. the other benefit to this is that i throw it on the back of the pickup and now have a very easy way to slide the outback on. I'll try and post some pictures when i get home.

I did similar on a trailer I had for my PA14. It worked.
I'm thinking the cushy pool noodle (large size) will work fine.

I've seen a lot of recommendations here from Hobie to store it upside down long term to avoid any deformation.

A simple hoist system can be rigged to hang it from the ceiling.
