I got the call yesterday I've been waiting for; my pre-ordered seagrass Compass has arrived! I'd like input from one of the Hobie team members about an upgrade I'd like to request from the dealer. I'd like them to install the Hobie rectangular hatch kit in the round hatch location at the seat and move the round hatch to the forward location pre molded for the round hatch. Can someone with Hobie confirm that this upgrade is okay on the Compass without compromising the deck integrity and effecting warranty? Also, if installed, would the tackle management rack accessory be feasible to use in the Compass? Thanks for your insight! |
