Hello Everyone, sorry to be a nuisance, I am going to ask a question about the ama's that I am sure has been answered a million times before but unfortunately I am unable to find the little bit of info I need. I have the ama's and I installed them as per hobies directions. I am afraid though that the well nuts keep popping out and I am going to replace the well nuts with stainless nuts and a locking bolt. My question is what dimensions are required for the nuts and bolts. I am afraid where I live there is not stainless nuts and bolts in the local hardware store so I have to go to a chandelier and get the nuts and bolts from him and I wanted to get the right size. All help greatly appreciated in this matter and apologies again for going over something that I am sure has been all ready mentioned in the forums. Kind Regards, Niall.

Either the holes were drilled to large or the well nuts were not tightened enough. Either might allow the nut to pull through.

The well nut Screw is a 10-32 x 1 3/4"

So you need similar diameter to fit the deck hardware, but the length could be shorter depending on the thickness of the hull.
