Hey folks, So I have read up on a lot of the historic posts about the Hobie Outback 2006. My serial falls inside the range that Hobie released for cracking issues with the Mirage well. does anyone know if Hobie keeps a record on repairs by serial number? I read that for a while, (4yrs) Hobie was replacing the hull on the yaks within the serial range. Can I find out if mine was changed? Outbacks with serial numbers from CCMA3753 through CCMF2853 were recalled and the serial number of this one is CCMf1244a606 - within this range. Thanks in advance. TX_Grubby |

There is no record of repairs. There was no "Recall". It was simply a tech statement. |
