Just curious - how many times a year do you use your kayak? And what is your average mileage each time out? |

I probably get to my place in Cedar Key every other weekend on average. The most common trip I take is about 11 miles and about half the time I'm down here I'll also kayak to Sunday breakfast (tide has to be right) which is 4 miles round trip. So, (26 X 11) + (13 X 4) = 338 miles per year. That's conservative since I'm not factoring in long holiday weekends. My typical trip:
