Hi, I need to sell my Hobie Kayak. It is a 2016 Mirage Oasis, tandem, 2016 and only been on the water 6 times. Any suggestions what price I should list it for? I'm sure it varies around the country. I live in the Charleston, SC area. Thanks for your help. Mark |

I looked on-line last month before selling my 2014 Oasis. I sold it last week for $2400. It was well loved and used but in great shape. The actual asking price you will advertise depends on several items: will you deliver, will you ship, are you in an area where kayaking is popular (clubs, dealers, etc.). Next I advertised on ebay, craigslists and local weekly papers. Because I live in an area with hundreds of lakes with marinas, I placed ads on their cork boards For Sale. Now what should you ask? Need to sell it soon? Then I would advertise at $2800 - 3000. Just want to sell it but still use it while waiting? Then maybe $3200 - 3500. Just my opinion but hey, I sold mine ![]() Jack |

The laws of supply and demand apply everywhere. If you cannot find many used ones for sale on places like craigslist, etc... then just price it reasonably below what someone would pay for new one. You will probably get a lot of interest from those individuals who just do not want to pay a premium for new. |
