| Post subject: | What kind of plastic is the transducer cover made from? |
I want to make some custom hanging brackets out of some scrap HDPE sheet that was leftover from a new hatch install. If possible I want to weld the plastic brackets to the cover. I could easily just use some small screw and nuts to mount the brackets, but I want to avoid having anything metal around near the bottom of the transducer. |

Pretty sure they are glass fiber filled nylon. |
