Hi, I'm picking up a used pro angler 12... I have a 2016 4runner.. I was looking at options available from Thule and yakima but they all say weight limit around 75-85#. Is that an issue because I know the list weight on the PA12 is over 100. I looked around the forums but couldnt find much. Also, do those Hullavator or the assist lifting racks work for a PA12? I assume no because of size and weight? |

The maximum width kayak the Hullavator can take is 36”, so you would be right at the limit. If you are interested in the Hullavator, call Thule to see what they say about the PA12 and the weight limit. There are two Hullavator models around. The older one only has a maximum hull width of 34”. I just purchased the Hullavator, cross bars, feet and locks from Yakattack.com. They have some open box deals that save some money for what is a very pricey setup. |
