My Hobie Sport is all ready for a fishing vacation in Maine! All my DIY projects I added to it are finally complete. This included a more upright seat assembly and seat strapped to it purchased on Ebay, stabilizers, downrigger, Internally wired transducer cable, fish finder mount and rod holder, two rod holders behind the seat, and anchor system. The seat is quite comfortable and removable vs. the original seat that came with the 2015 Mirage Sport. (The stabilizers are in the up storage portion) I'm still amazing at the mirage drive. My hands are free, I can really move out, I don't get wet, and I can turn on a dime thanks to the rudder system. Thank you for those of you on here that helped answer some of my questions! ![]() ![]() |

Your Sport looks great! I'm trying to decide between buying a 2019 Sport or a Rev 11... Any experience using the Rev 11? Have you been happy with yours? How does it do in rougher waters? Appreciate ya! |
