So frustrated with myself. I just picked up Compass and the first time out I used a scupper cart I used with my other kayak. I didn't realize it but the wheels were rubbing hull. It caused some gouging and I'm not sure if it also is dented it or just wore it down. How bad is this damage? Should i be worried about it structurally? Is it repairable?

It will be indented from the weight, and will pop right out with a bit of heat and internal pressure if necessary. probably pop out itself if left alone. The scrapes from the tires will be superficial. These could even be smoothed out if necessary, but its going to get scratched anyway.

Plenty of youtubes about fixing dents and scuffs in plastic kayaks. You will be surprised just how tough and malleable they are.

Looks like it's just a dent. Try this.

Awesome, thought I might be overreacting but just wanted second opinion. Thanks for the replies everyone.

leave it upside down in the sun and it will probably magically disappear. Happens a lot when folks leave them sitting on trestles and roof bars
