Hi Matt
I was wondering if the Evolve Motor Kits are being discontinued , recalled or upgraded .
There doesn’t appear to be many new ones in stock and places that did stock them for sale are listing them as no longer available, out of stock, and are no longer listed in the website . If you have any information in these I’d appreciate it.
Thanks in advance

Still available.

There was a battery recall that stopped shipping for a while. Torqeedo provided a test tool/platform, so we checked all our stock in a specific serial range. That took several weeks to put together and get the testing done. All set here now. We have been shipping again for almost two weeks.

If anyone is concerned about their battery you would contact Torqeedo direct via the recall page:

https://www.torqeedo.com/us/en-us/service-centre/information-and-return-shipment/safety.html

Serial number (S. no.)
from… – to…
Travel 1001… – 1752…
Ultralight 1117… – 1826…

Hi Matt
Thank you for the information, I’ll just wait until the stock is available and order one up. I’m looking for the extra boost to get to fishing locations that are farther away from my launch site and which cannot be reached in time for the optimum tides, then return back to the launch before it becomes a mud hole, using only my mirage drive. The evolve sounds like the best way to get it done, now if I can just find a trunk monkey or donkey to wheel it all back up the ramp to the car in the searing heat when I’m done. Please let me know if you have any of those too. Thank you again !

Hello, sorry to bump this thread up again.

I'm looking to get a Hobie Evolve v2 for my Tandem Island, but it seems like it is out of stock everywhere. I can see this has happened before, however I worry it is discontinued as Torqeedo removed any mention of it on its website.

Does anyone have any info on this?

Thanks,

In stock, ready to ship. Not a lot of dealers stock them, but we did just ship quite a few last week.

Thats reassuring, thanks for the reply! I live in the Middle East (Bahrain) so I think I'll have to wait a bit before our regional dealer resupplies, especially due to the current situation going on.
