Hi all - considering buying either the Hobie Compass or Passport. Really need them to be light since I'll be buying 2 and need to cartop them both. Have any of you with the compass or passports taken them out for inshore fishing? How have them performed? |

One trip so far off Navarre beach in my new Passport 10.5 and it performed awesome. Granted, I'm only going in the Gulf on a really nice day, but that's probably a good idea for any boat in the 10 foot range. |

My wife has a Passport 10.5 and has been very happy with it. I have an Outback, and the stability seems very similar. The Passport is light and easily manageable. |
