Post subject:  Passport - inshore fishing?

Hi all - considering buying either the Hobie Compass or Passport. Really need them to be light since I'll be buying 2 and need to cartop them both.

Have any of you with the compass or passports taken them out for inshore fishing? How have them performed?

One trip so far off Navarre beach in my new Passport 10.5 and it performed awesome. Granted, I'm only going in the Gulf on a really nice day, but that's probably a good idea for any boat in the 10 foot range.

My wife has a Passport 10.5 and has been very happy with it. I have an Outback, and the stability seems very similar. The Passport is light and easily manageable.
