I see a lot of pics of boonedox landing gear on PA 14 and I've also read that it voids the hull warranty anybody have any info on this |

I don't know about voiding the warranty, I have heard it does but unless the hull failure is in the area of, or tied directly to the landing gear I see no reason why Hobie would not stand behind their product. From my personal experience, the landing gear are highly over rated. The wheels have no bearing system but rather just ride on the axle causing the wheels to drag more than roll. The lugs on the axle bind when trying to deploy or retract the wheel legs. If I had not already drilled and mounted my landing gear I would go back to the Hobie cart. Just my .2 cents. |
