This is not normal. We certainly can replace the prop. |

So I got the new prop today but it won't go completely down the threaded shaft. Like the thru hole is too narrow. ![]() It's just stuck here now I've been trying to get it off without damaging the plastic. It's not stuck where usual props get stuck like around the shear pin, the prop is still like a half inch away from the shear pin. |

So I got it off, it was stuck so bad I actually had to unscrew it off instead of pull it off. It left grooves inside the prop. ![]() ![]() For comparison here is the old nicked prop on the shaft: ![]() Versus how far the replacement prop will go without me pushing dangerously hard on it/screwing it on: ![]() And also I don't think this is related but I wanted to document it now that the prop shaft arrived with a slightly damaged threading. The nut still screws down tight without any force needed, but in case Torqeedo support thinks I damaged the pylon for future warranty work. ![]() ![]() So what should I do about the Evolve prop? |
