Have a brand new Passport 12 and was wondering about transport. I have a truck with a 6.5 foot bed. I live 2 hours away from a lake that i frequently fish so it is not a short trip (some lakes are even further). I was wondering is it ok to transport the kayak upside down (or right side up) on foam blocks or do i have to get a bed extender. I was wondering because I know this is a thermoform kayak and I don't know how much more sensitive to deformation they are than the rotomold kayaks. Any help would be appreciated. |

No problem with some hanging out. Support at the tailgate edge. Best upside down. |
