Just bought a new Passport 12 and my wife noted a dent in the forward hull. I have seen the video using hot water and air pressure but did not know if that would work at this location and with a thermoform hull. Any thoughts? Thanks ![]() |

Bummer! At least it is on the bottom and would have to effect on performance. Hot water should work. These are polyethylene, so very similar to the roto-molded versions. mmiller wrote: Easy Dent Removal
Kayaks can be dented by various means, no need to worry, they are simple to remove. Improper storage, cart use, freight/transport, too much pressure on tie-down straps all can cause a dent in a kayak. We have the solution. Watch Jacques Bernier in the video linked below.
