I have a hobie passport 12. I want to use a removable cleat(yakattack gt cleat) to slide in the gear track to tie down my anchor. My question is are the screws holding in the gear track strong enough to support the pull from being anchored or will they pull out? I only lake fish so it will not be used against river current.
thanks

I have the YakAttack cleat, its solid in the gear track. I'd image any kayak sized anchor would break loss of its ground anchor point before pulling the gear track screws out, so I personally wouldn't worry about it.
