Hi guys-- ...just acquired an older kayak and have experienced frustration already with the rudder up/down, since it seems like the cables were switched. Is there a specific page/forum here for older Hobie Classics? Be well-- |

Thank you, mmiller. Not sure why up/down was hooked up down/up but whatever--got it functioning and took it for a spin around a local lake and WOW! This thing is fast! Surprising stable, too, for such a lightweight craft. But is there a "Classic" forum? I'm looking at limited options for attaching a rod holder...gunwales are too narrow for the Scotty track system. Is there a narrower rail or track system available? Or am I, some random pieces of PVC, and a pop-rivet gun kinda on our own? |

There is no specific Classic Forum. |
