So this may be a silly question but here it goes. I just received my Compass and built a pvc rack for storage of 3 kayaks. I understand that the way to store the Compass is upside down. The rack is in my garage. I am trying to figure out how to flip the kayak and then lift and drag it to the first rail of the rack with out scratching the top of the kayak. I suppose that I could throw a couple of blankets down and slide it on the blankets but just wondered if anyone had found and easier way. I am a 5'3", 61 year old woman so I am looking to save my already poor back.

I have the SAME issue and I am actually the same height and age as you! I need to know what is best for daily removal from the lake to shore and how to store it overnight every day at lakeside? I was told that there is a forum on building a PVC rail system for manually pulling the kayak out of the water onto which would then keep the underside suspended and not resting on the keel? I would like to find this info to be able to build it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just purchased my Hobie Outback in May 2021.

Can you load it upside down on your scupper cart when unloading? If so, it’ll already be turned and can pull it right beside your rack
