Post subject:  Hobie Mirage Sport -built year unkown-compatible with MD180
Hi there,
is it possible to use a new miracle drive 180 in such a kayak?

Besides that I would like to know the built year of that kayak- I guess it has to be somewhat around 2012 - but I am unsure.

Any help is appreciated :-)

You would have to trim off the alignment pins and maybe file some of the fairing off (not likely). Otherwise it would work.

Thank you for the answer - one last question: Is the manufacturing date(I think its 2012) correct?

The rudder is pre-Twist and Stow, which started in 2007, so this is older.
