Post subject:  Tool or app to track distance covered, which one do you use?

Looking for a tool or application that will help me track distance covered while kayaking / kayak-sailing. Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks

I use my fish finder that has a built in GPS.
You could also use you cell phone.

I use both my Garmin EchoMAP and the Workout app on my Apple watch.

Garmin Forerunner 245 GPS (or one of the others in this family) Waterproof, fits on your wrist, use it for multiple activities. also does heart rate, pulse ox, and a bunch of other health and performance related guesstimates. 8)

Thanks for the info, will use my Apple watch and then when I get a fish finder, will make sure it is GPS enabled.

Been using MAPMYWALK for a long time with satisfaction. Tracks routes, speeds, times, etc...
