| Post subject: | Hobie Mirage Kayak Floor Stand |
Looking for the distance between rails for this stand. The length is listed as 40 in and the height at 18 in. I have two kayaks, one a hobie 2020 compass and the other is a different hull design. Want to find the distance from center of rail to center of rail to see if the other kayak can be accommodated. using as a temporary work stand and rigging station. Thanks GG |

Center-to-center is exactly 11 inches and not adjustable. Beyond maybe 12’ kayak length it is not that stable or supportive and you may need two or an alternate secondary support. I do use one alone occasionally under my 14.5’ Oasis for quick mid-ship rigging jobs but Hobie does recommend pairs for tandems and islands. Peter |
