1) Learn how to climb back in, in case of falling or rolling out. While reboarding on your belly, I might roll into the seat rather than into the pedals like this guy: 2) Memorize following channel markers, keeping in mind half of the world reverses the colors yet keep the shapes the same (eg red triangle becomes green triangle):  I'm mostly kidding on need to learn crazy channel marker system, but you might want to know on which side of a marker you can be to stay out of powerboat traffic. |
