Post subject: | Making accessories with 3d printer? |
I have been following a youtube series of a guy refitting a sailboat using custom 3d printed items. Are these strong and affordable enough for creative do it yourself kayak accessories? Can it be built of a plastic compatible with gluing to a hull? The youtube guy has about half his prints fail on a budget machine even tho he does it in a climate control box. I gather you can have professionals print stuff for you on better machines, but I hope you can still use own computer for design. This guy is going to cross oceans with these things, so it must appear to have some integrity. |
