Post subject:  Older Mirage drives on a 2017 Oasis will not stay seated

We lost the mirage drives for out 2017 Oasis in a hurricane. I bought 2 used older model Mirage drives in good condition, but they will not stay properly seated. Specifically either one side popps out of the cam or the entire drive tilts forward under pedaling pressure making it unusable until completely reseated. This happens on both drives both at both seat positions. Is there a problem with older Mirage drives in a 2017 Outback? Thank you!

Older drives may not have the current drum shaft. Current ones have splines that keep them from rotating. The click and go levers capture the shaft and cause it to rotate on each stroke and can walk the levers open. Older boats had a different system (Cam Lock Knobs) for locking the drives in and did not have that rotation issue.

A replacement drum shaft in each should fix the issue.
