There is buzz over Hobie Brazil not importing kayaks anymore. Brazilians can't buy or receive post-sale support anymore. Our representatives stopped answering about the brand, either selling or post-sale support/warranty claims. They don't accept phone calls anymore. They simply redirected all warranty claims to a person called Diana which I believe is Diana Ortega Caballero. She doesn't give clear answers or time over the approved warrant claims and stopped answering at all, since the past two weeks. Hobie can have the afford to treat Brazilian customers like trash, since our national companies have so-so, if not crappy kayaks... I'm telling people here to lawyer up and lawsuit the hell out Hobie. What a shame... |

Its would be nice if you really start answering the messages sent to you and make clear the future status of Hobie Brazil. By the way, the Brazilian código de defesa do consumidor (Brazilian consumerist law) states companies have 30 days to fix warranty issues. |

Olá, sinto muito estar entrando nesse fórum pela primeira vez, justamente com um assunto desagradável. Pude ler no tópico de meu conterrâneo sobre a não importação mais de caiaques hobie para o Brasil. Estive na loja em Porto Belo, Santa Catarina, Brasil a pouco tempo, e a esposa do proprietário disse que a loja não está fechando e, que são apenas fofocas e boatos. Mas obtive informação que poderão inserir mais produtos para venderem juntamente com os atuais produtos oferecidos. Ao entrar no site Hobie Brasil, pude notar que ao procurar por caiaques, a página não é encontrada, mas ao procurar acessórios, vc é remetido a vários itens. Tendo isso em vista, acabo chegando a conclusão que não estão mais importando caiaques, pelo menos no momento não. Espero que voltem a importar, ou alguém no Brasil o faça. The claim 576856826 still waiting to be updated and nearing the 1-year mark, since it was filled. |
