Hi, I bought a used and broken mirage drive (v2). Besides needing to replace the chains and idler, in the process of whatever broken the chain, one of the teeth on the sprockets is gone. I figure it's better to replace it (correct?), but I'm not sure what part to get. I see that there is a v2 sprocket, but the availability looks to be poor. https://www.sunjammers.com/sprocket-v2- ... guard.html Part # 81129001 Or will this one work? https://www.mariner-sails.com/sprocket- ... screw.html 81128001 Or the more expensive GT sprocket? https://www.mariner-sails.com/gt-sprock ... rings.html 81127001 ![]() |

Not a lot of activity on this website. Just to be helpful for the next person to come around, I have discovered that the V2 sprocket is no longer manufactured. But the GT sprocket works fine and fits — and while being more expensive, it has bearings which may marginally help performance. |

yeah and i "upgraded" to the GT sprockets. They are horrible. Squeak so loud you will want to scuttle the kayak and sink it. I wish someone still made the non-GT non bearing drive |
