I bought an AI from someone. The haul still has time left on the warantee. Will Hobie honor this or did it end with the sale? It is registered under the original owners name.

I bought an AI from someone. The haul still has time left on the warantee. Will Hobie honor this or did it end with the sale? It is registered under the original owners name.

Glenn, Congratulations on your new AI! I'm pretty sure Hobie warrants the boat regardless of ownership so you should have full warranty privileges. There have been a couple of updates to the mast and rudder, so be sure to read about all the latest on the AI forum.

Thanks for the reply. The original owner has received the upgraded ruder and is forwarding it to me. Should have it today. The AI was originally purchased in December '06. I have not been able to locate any posts in the forum about the sail upgrade. Do you know where it is so that I can see if its applicable to me?
