| Post subject: | Carry handle bungee missing |
New revolution13 does not have rear carry handle bungee. Is that by design or was it not installed as should be? There is only 1 bungee for rudder but no 2nd bungee to pull carry handle bungee against hull (away from the padeye) so it isnt laying across the steering lines. Besides driving long ways back to dealer, how would I fix that? Image below shows new green kayak on left with handle hanging loose and on right is old Revo13 with handle bungeed against hull.

Ugh, I got email from Hobie confirming the bungee for rear carry handle is no longer included on Revolution. That is a nuisance and unfriendly design decision. With no bungee to hold the handle against the hull, it hangs on the steering lines which cant be good. Carry handle and steer lines share the same padeye on Revo, so may not be an issue on other kayaks where handle has its own padeye. |
