| Post subject: | Bixby motor on Hobie |
I picked up a bixby motor for my mirage sport and am figuring out where to put it. I prefer not to place it in the mirage drive slot nor the rudder, so interested in seeing how others have installed it. If you've installed a bixby, can you share your experience and pics? Interested in hearing from those who have installed it on the rudder and mirage drive slots also. |

I have the J-1 motor with the universal adapter mounted "fixed" next to the rudder. I use the rudder to steer and the kick-up feature still works with the adapter. I`ve tried every position and this works the best.
