I bought what looks like a Mirage classic, but it is not rotomolded it is a fiberglass of a resin glass hull of some type. It has a bending branches rudder system on it, the strange thing is the lever that controls the right and left on the rudder connects to a stiff rod of some type which connects to the rudder. It appears to be missing some linkage from the rod to the rudder, I am trying to repair it and no one seems to know anything about this kayak. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! |

The very first Mirage was in fiberglass before the molds (for plastic boats) were ready. Just a few were made. The controls should still be line within a plastic tube inside the hull: http://static.hobiecat.com/2010_archive/support/pdfs/80018.pdf |
