Saw a post somewhere about fin cuts due to fishing line etc. I have had a couple fin cuts and one mast poke through due to grounding. All on the ST fins. I have done a repair on the fins. Using acetone I cleaned all areas really well then applied shoe gooo and allowed to cure for a few days. The areas "seem" to be solid, though none too pretty. Here are some pics. I am putting them back on (and carring my old ones as spares) and I will report back ob how well the repairs hold up. I have so far used the shoe gooo to attach a keel protection patch at the back end which gets drug through the dirt when loading and it is still there after two months.
