This is a whiny complaint!

I own an Outback 2005 SUV and an Adventure. Rode with my son yesterday on the river - quite calm.

Once again I was amazed by how quiet the Adventure is in comparison to the Outback. This is a hull design issue in my opinion. The lower hull merges into a rounded/hippy section that "whaps" the water with every pedal stroke.

When you're into sneaking up on turtles/waterfowl/fish you find the incessant noies of this unfortunate hull design annoying in the extreme. I'm surprised I've not seen other complaints about this. The Adventure is so quiet and superior I can't imagine anyone being happy with the Outback.

This boat is for sale in the Classified section by the way.

yes the outback's are louder thru the water, one must pick the style mirage that fits there personal use the best, I have people trade adventures in on outback for stability reasons. I find the revolution is a nice mixture, also the new hull design on the outback is a little quieter.

At least you're not telling me they're equal in noise....

I haven't noticed a stability issue with my Adventure but maybe it's where and how I ride. I'm about 260 and ride on a mostly quiet, dammed up river. Never even come close to tipping the Adventure but there's no chop and I'm not sprinting to catch waves either.

Faster and quieter equals win-win for me.

Amen! Once you're tuned into the speed and stealth of the Adventure, nothing else is quite the same. I am surprised to hear that anyone could possibly have any stability issues with it unless they have vertigo. I saw some guy standing on his the other day (don't think I'd try it though unless the water was warm :D ). 8)

I don't find sneaking up on anything an issue if that's what I'm trying to do. I've gotten at least as close in the Outback as anything else I've been on / in. Scooting along, it's not the quietest hull, but certainly not the noisiest I've used either.
